Consider these 4 urls
these 4 urls are same and if anyone would click on it, same site will reopen. However, it does not make any difference if you have www in your website or without www. But presence of http and https makes a lot of difference. Why because https because having https makes your website lot more safe and secured. For example https://www.amazon.in as you can see https is there which means this site is totally safe and secure and data shared on the site by the customers are totally secured. SO one can easily shop on Amazon. `
However, as far as search engine indexing and crawling is concerned, Google considers each url as separate url. So if all the above urls is indexed by Google, it will consider it as 4 different urls. However the site is same and will have same content. So it is regarded as duplicate content site and will not rank better on Google.
How To Fix Multiple Url Error
If you have a wordpress site , you need to login and find settings option
Wordpress Address (URL) https://xyz.com
Site Address (URL) https://xyz.com
You need to include same url in both the fields and then save it. This would fix the problem of multiple url. However if the above field is grey and you are unable to edit it, then you need to chnge it using ftp login in wp-config file. You also need to change it in .HTACCESS file so that your website url get rerouted to only one specific url even if someone clicks on other multiple url if present.
Also use it for any purposes for sharing it on web or for link building.
